I was born and raised in Kenora ON. Attended University of Toronto for my dental degree and was awarded the Gold Medal in Pediatric Dentistry. Returned for my Post Graduate Diploma in Pediatric Dentistry at U of T & Toronto Hospital for Sick Children. After graduating, I moved to Winnipeg where I became Assistant Professor and Head of the Undergraduate Pediatric Dental Program in the Faculty of Dentistry at the U of M. After a short time in that position, I then set up a full-time private practice in Pediatric Dentistry at the Medical Arts Building where I am now.
I have served on several Dental Committees with the Manitoba Dental Association and Red River College and continue to teach at the Faculty of Dentistry, U of M. I have also served on boards within the community including Winnipeg Montessori School and the Manitoba Theatre for Young People.
I am a member of the Royal College of Dentists & the Canadian Academy of Pediatric Dentists and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists.
I am the father of 3 sons, a father in law, and a grandfather of 2 boys and 2 girls. I enjoy my family, my dental practice, the Winnipeg community, our friends, and spending time at our cottage at Lake of the Woods.
