Meet Our Childrens Dental Team

Cheryl is another one of our senior staff members.

She began working for Dr Vodrey as a dental assistant. In November 2006 she took on the new challenge of Office Manager. Cheryl has been married to Roger since 1986 and they have two children, Sarah and Justin.

Her spare time is mostly spent in hockey rinks but other than being a hockey mom she also enjoys curling, scrapbooking and gardening.

Deanna is one of our outstanding Winnipeg childrens Restorative Dental Hygienists who has worked with us for many years.

She divides her time between our office and a specialty Periodontal office. She shares her life with her long time boyfriend and her fur baby Smookey.Smookey is a three legged torte shell Persian cat who she adopted three years ago.

Deanna’s fun and energetic personality lends well to our fun and open environment here at our office.

Susan is one of our multi-talented Winnipeg childrens dental Assistants. Not only does she work in the office, but also with us at the Hospitals and surgery center on our younger patients.

She has been part of our energetic team for over ten years. Susan also works part time in a general practice as an assistant and receptionist.

When Susan is not working she is busy with her Champion Bloodline Golden Retrievers, which she shows, breeds and yes, sells.Cottage life, her husband and three lovely children make her life truly complete!

Salma has been a childrens restorative hygienist in our Winnipeg Dental office for a number of years. Her past work experience has been in General Practice and a Periodontal specialty office.

She is married and has two sons who are attending  University in Alberta and British Columbia. Salma works in our office part time and also manages her husband’s medical practice.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, her electronic toys, cooking for care packages for her boys and travelling.

Margaret works at the front desk as the receptionist for our Winnipeg childrens dental clinic.

She is also a phase II Dental Assistant and will occasionally pitch in for  the other assistants in the back.

She has been in this office for 20 years and would love to work here many more years. Margaret has been married for 25 wonderful years and has four beautiful children and two awesome dogs.

During her “spare” time, Margaret enjoys the Beach and Cottage life

Julie is one of the returning childrens dental assistants at Dr Vodrey’s Winnipeg Dentist Office.

She is a Mom and new Grandma, which make working with children a natural fit.

Julie likes the team approach taken in the office.

The team works together to get the job done.

Julie likes to bike to work and spend free time at the lake.

Joanne is a childrens dental hygienist who has been in the Winnipeg office since it opened. She works 3 days a week and loves working with children which explains why she is still practicing her restorative, orthodontic and preventative skills all these years. Also, she enjoys the team orientated, open and friendly atmosphere Dr Vodrey creates in the office. Joanne is married to Craig and the proud mother to her son Kyle and daughter Amy.

When not working at the office, Joanne is busy with her home business, custom picture framing.
Her spare time is spent singing in a Worship Band, spending time with family and friends, biking, boating, shopping and walking her dog Odie.

Delores graduated from Red River Community College in Winnipeg, Manitoba,as a Phase II Dental Assistant also completing her Orthodontic Module. She started with Dr Vodrey when he initially set up his Childrens Dental Clinic in the Medical Arts Building. She has always enjoyed working with children. As well, she has also worked in the Orthodontic field for more than 10 years with several Orthodontists.

Delores and her husband built a home in East St. Paul, where they raised a son and a daughter.In that time she was also reunited with a second daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandchildren.  After raising her family, she returned to Dr Vodrey’s practice on a part-time basis. In her spare time she enjoys decorating, gardening, cooking and loves to travel. Her biggest passion is living the Good Life at their lake house, which her husband and son built. She loves a great sense of humor!

Pat has been a member of Dr Vodrey’s Pediatric Dental Team in his downtown Winnipeg clinic as a childrens dental assistant for more than ten years and shares her working time with a periodontic dentist office in Winnipeg.

Pat enjoys working with  children but mostly enjoys working with Dr Vodrey’s amazing childrens dental team.

In her spare time Pat enjoys travelling with her husband Dan and their two children, daughters, Erin and Lindsay.

Agee has been a restorative childrens dental hygienist since 2005. She was born and raised in the Phillipines and is fluent in both English and Tagalog. Agee is happily married to Arnold and they were blessed with a baby girl, Aleeza (which means joy) in December 2007.

Agee works on a permanent part-time basis with Dr Vodrey’s team and also works for another Winnipeg dentist on a part-time basis. Agee is much loved by her patients and co-workers because of her cheerful disposition, and she finds fulfillment and happiness in her work with children.
